Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the
Knob Hill Home Owners Association is scheduled to meet Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Conant Elementary School.

Fence replacement

You may have noticed the new fence at the Lone Pine entrance. All of the split-rail fence at the northern entrance was replaced in August. The rest of the fence replacement is planned for 2012. It was delayed in order to spread the expense over two years.

Fence repair is one of the many expenses your Association dues pay for, so please submit them in a timely manner.

Knob Hill Subdivision

The Knob Hill subdivision is located in Bloomfield Township, Michigan
and comprises approximately 92 single-family homes.

Before it was developed in 1961, the area was an apple orchard owned
by the Forman Brothers. The Forman farmhouse, located on the corner of
Quarton and Franklin Rd., is currently occupied by descendants of the
original family.

The neighborhood is served by the Bloomfield Hills School District.

Road resurfacing

Members of the Board will soon be going door-to-door, seeking your signature on an Expression of Interest, a no-cost road assessment by the Oakland County Road Commission. This is the first step in determining the cost for replacing our 50-year old roadway, which was designed to last 25 years.

Please add your signature when your neighbor comes calling. It does not commit you to participating in the road replacement. It only tells the County we are interested in assessing the cost. A second survey to proceed with repairs will be circulated if a majority of home owners agree to go forward.
